Copyright and copying

TACT is shareware. All programs are copyrighted to the programmers and members of the development team and to the University of Toronto but may be freely copied by anyone for research or teaching as long as it is distributed only pursuant to this license.

Permission is hereby granted to reproduce and disseminate the TACT system so long as

1. no remuneration of any kind is received in exchange;
2. distribution is without any modification to the contents of its files, including the copyright notice and this license; and
3. its supporting documentation is not separated from the programs and published in any form as a manual without written permission in advance.

No copy of TACT may be distributed without including a copy of this license.

Any other use is prohibited without express, written permission in advance.
