[Formerly : Cyber Semiotics Institute]
The Semiotics Institute Online (formerly Cyber Semiotics Institute) is a non-profit organization that provides advanced courses in various domains of inquiry relevant to semiotic research in the broadest sense. The courses are delivered in the form of eight lectures by qualified specialists who volunteer the sharing of their knowledge in a didactic format aimed at graduate students. The instructors can be directly contacted by email by those who wish to undertake further research under their guidance. The instructors are free to decide, on a case by case basis, under what conditions they can agree to do so. The Semiotics Institute Online is solely responsible for making the courses available to those who can benefit from the knowledge they provide according to the open source principle. The contents and modalities of all further interactions among researchers, and between instructors and students, are the sole responsibility of the interactants. Please note that the instructors own the copyright of all material they have agreed to make available online.
